Job Summary
- The Dialysis Coordinator acts as a clinical resource providing onsite supervision, assuring implementation of program policy/procedures, and regulatory compliance.
- Oversees and provides care to acute and chronic dialysis patients as well as coordination of day to day operations by managing staff assignments and duties.
Education and/or Experience
- Graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program is strongly preferred. Graduate from an approved nursing program is acceptable.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
- 12 months nursing experience and an additional 6 months of specialized experience providing clinical nursing care to dialysis patients, in either a chronic or acute setting, is required.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of multi-state licensure required.
- Nephrology Nursing Certification or Certified Dialysis Nurse preferred.
Work Schedule
- 0500-1530 or 0500-1700 rotating shifts; 72hrs/2wks
- Weekend rotation
- Holiday rotation: 2 holidays per year
