We are enthusiastically seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team in Greenville, OH, US. The ideal candidate should possess comprehensive knowledge of medical principles and practices and must be capable of multitasking efficiently. The chosen applicant should display superior patient care and exhibit matchless clinical discernment. We have a range of positions available:


  • RN - Care Center - Nights - 6 pm-630 am (Part-Time)
  • RN - Care Center - Days - 6:00 am-6:30 pm (Part-Time)
  • RN Weekend Warrior - Nights & Days Available - (Full-Time)
  • Chief Clinical Officer
  • RN- Team Leader - Home Care

Responsibilities:


Chief Clinical Officer (RN)

  • The Chief Clinical Officer ensures quality of patient care. The primary function is for the overall administration of the clinical staff, social service component of the Agency, and monitoring of appropriate staffing and productivity. The Chief Clinical Officer oversees and supervises the Team Managers, Care Center Manager, and serves as a mentor and supervisor to the social services teams. He/she provides consultation to the interdisciplinary team regarding psychosocial, spiritual and music therapy needs, provides direct service to patient/families, focusing on identified high risk patient/families. They ensure that policies and procedures are being followed as directed by the Chief Executive Officer. They will act in place of the Chief Executive Officer in his/her absence. 
  • BA in Nursing preferred or Associate degree with minimum of five years of relative experience.


RN Team Manager (Homecare)

  • The Team Manager is directly responsible for providing direct supervision and clinical oversight of hospice clinical staff and serves as their clinical resource. 
  • Current RN license



RN

  • Assess patient symptoms and provide appropriate advanced care management.
  • Facilitate interdisciplinary patient meetings and ensure continuity of care.
  • Supervise staff, such as volunteers, hospice aides, and primary caregivers.
  • Educate patients and their families about their insurance benefits.
  • Secure necessary medical orders from Physicians and Medical Directors.
  • Complete initial nursing assessments and order necessary medical equipment.
  • Provide services outside of regular working hours if necessary.
  • Adhere to organizational policies and regulations regarding documentation.
  • Remain current with job-related requirements and procedures.
  • Fulfill any additional duties assigned.
Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid nursing license in Ohio and Indiana, or eligibility to obtain licensure in both states is essential
  • Proof of completion of an accredited nursing program is preferred
  • Minimum of two years of experience in medical/surgical, oncology, or community health nursing is required
  • Preference will be given to candidates with hospice experience
  • Applicants must possess a valid nursing license in Ohio and Indiana, or be eligible to obtain licensure in both states.
  • Possessing a documented graduation from an accredited nursing program is highly beneficial.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in medical/surgical, oncology, or community health nursing is mandatory.
  • Candidates with hospice experience will be given preference.
