The UMMC Cardiac Cath Lab is looking for an experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse to join the Cardiac Cath Lab team!

The cardiac catheterization lab at UMMC DTC specializes in the latest methods for evaluating and treating most forms of heart disease. Our cardiologists are among the most experienced and talented in the region at performing diagnostic, interventional and structural cardiac procedures. Our cardiac catheterization labs are equipped to handle all major cardiac catheterization procedures currently in use, including, but not limited to:
- Diagnostic RHC and LHC catheterization
- Balloon angioplasty
- Intravascular ultrasound
- Rotational atherectomy
- Cardiac stent placement
- Cardiac structural interventions
The responsibilities of the Cardiac Cath Lab nurse will be, but are not limited to, the following:
- Prepare patients for procedures
- Administer medications, including moderate sedation
- Perform patient assessments pre and post procedures
- Monitor and document vital signs and sedation levels during and after procedures
- Analyze cardiac rhythms
- Work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
- Work well with a team structure
- Assist/circulate procedures
- Adhere to on-call policy requirements and respond appropriately to emergency calls per unit policy.

The UMMC Cardiac Cath Lab is looking for an experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse to join the Cath Lab team! This position supports charge nurse decisions and collaborates with a small multidisciplinary team.
