Responsibilities
Under general direction of the Manager, Cardiology, the overall goal of the Cardiology Nurse is to be self-directed to provide optimum patient care utilizing the nursing process. The nurse will assess, identify needs, plan, implement appropriate interventions, document and evaluate outcomes for the cardiac patient.
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:- Associate's degree in Nursing and over 1 to 3 years of cardiology experience required.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing and over 1 to 3 years of cardiology experience preferred.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:
- Registered Nurse in PA – licensed, upon hire, required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) upon hire required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire required.
