SalaryFounded in 1921, Straub Medical Center includes a 159-bed hospital in Honolulu, a network of neighborhood clinics and a visiting specialist program that reaches throughout the state of Hawai'i. With over 200 physicians who are leaders in their fields, Straub provides its patients with diagnoses and treatments for more than 32 different medical specialties, including bone and joint, heart, cancer, endocrinology/diabetes, family medicine, gastroenterology, geriatric medicine, internal medicine, vascular and urology. Straub is home to the Pacific Region’s only multidisciplinary burn treatment center. The hospital consistently brings new technologies and innovative medical practices to Hawai'i, such as minimally invasive cardiac surgery and total joint replacement.
Patient Services Administration supports the hospital/clinic leadership and is responsible for assigned areas within our flagship Clinical Service Line operations. These areas may include quality and financial performance, marketing strategies, human resource planning, medical staff relationships, and research and education initiatives. The Patient Services Administration team works closely with other health care leadership and staff within Hawai‘i Pacific Health hospitals and clinics to ensure that Clinical Service Line operations are running smoothly. They also provide staffing services for the hospitals and serve the facility with customer service, clinical competency and fiscal responsibility.
As a Registered Nurse in Patient Services Administration, you will have the opportunity to provide professional and compassionate nursing services to the Straub community through the assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and documentation of patient care. You will also function as an associate to a charge nurse and begin to assume charge nurse responsibilities with time. We are looking for someone with excellent patient care and communication skills and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people.

Minimum Qualifications: Current Hawai‘i Registered Nurse License. Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) CPR card. One (1) year recent ambulatory care Registered Nurse experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field. Two (2) years recent ambulatory care Registered Nurse experience in clinic procedural areas. Current American Heart Association, Pediatrics Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) CPR cards. PICC Experience.
