Job Summary:

Our healthcare facility is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse RN Flex Pool to join our team in Hilo, HI. The RN Flex Pool provides comprehensive nursing care, evaluates patient outcomes, and assists patients and their families with the coordination of healthcare services to meet their changing needs.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provides direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments, and monitoring vital signs.
• Assesses patient conditions and evaluates patient outcomes to determine the need for further interventions or modifications to the plan of care.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary healthcare team members including physicians, social workers, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Documents all patient care activities and maintains accurate, complete medical records.
• Educates patients and their families on disease processes, preventative measures, and treatment options.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Current RN license in the state of Hawaii
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical nursing setting
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
