Our outpatient infusion centers are managed by Family Nurse Practitioners. They provide a comprehensive list of infusions that include, but are not limited to, biologics, antibiotics, hydration therapy, iron, and enzyme replacements.

Responsibilities:
- Treat all scheduled patients
- Mix medications
- Monitor patients on the floor (i.e. vitals, rounding)
- Chart on all patients treated in NG
- Complete discharge letters in NG and eFax
- Make sure to confirm that we have medication available for stat meds
- File any necessary documents in NextGen
- Order Med provided
- Order clinical supplies
- Ensure meds for specialty drugs or for over the weekend
- Help answer phones
- Monitor emails to address nurse related items flagged by Admins
- Monitor faxes when admins are not present
- File orders when admins are not present
- Work the task (ready to schedule primarily. Can assist admins with; missing info, notify pt, additional clinicals needed)
- Sanitize chairs, tables, and poles after patients leave
- Clean and stock coffee bar, snacks and sodas
- Check in medications when they arrive
- Train new nurses
- Chart-prep all charts for the following day. Try to stay a week ahead
- Other responsibilities as needed/assigned
About You:
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program
- Active RN license (in good standing) in the state you are applying to work in
- BCLS/CPR Certification
- Must remain current on all required continuing education units
- Ability to multi-task
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong computer/typing skills as necessary for daily tasking
- Familiarity of EMR documentation systems (NextGen a plus)
- Have great organizational skills
Salary Range:
We take pride in ensuring we compensate our employees fairly and equitably. We provide a range and actual starting pay may be based on several factors including but not limited to, market rate, qualifications, internal compensation, candidate location, and budgetary constraints.
$34-$45/hour
Benefits:
$10/hour shift differential for Sat/Sun
Double-time for hours worked for a Paragon recognized/approved holiday
Experience
Required- 5 year(s): three to five years in acute care setting; e.g., medical-surgical, telemetry, oncology
Education
Required- Bachelors or better in Nursing
