We are seeking an Contract RN to join our team! This is an opportunity to start working for a newly licensed Home Health company. The We will work together to assess and admit our first patients. You will have a clean slate to assist in hiring and training care staff. As we grow our census to a predetermined number the ideal candidate will then make the transition to full time with our agency.
Responsibilities:
- Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients
- Diagnose and establish patient treatment plans for PT, OT and Skilled Nursing
- Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
- Communicate with collaborating medical teams regarding patient care
- Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention
- Maintain accurate patient medical records
- Create employee training plans, maintain and oversee all required Continuing Education.
- Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a DON or Alternate RN in Home Health Agency
- Familiarity with medical software and equipment
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to document daily interactions with employees and patients
- Ability to manage staff and maintain files.
We are a growing Home Health Agency. We are seeking an RN with 1-2 years of experience in the Home Health field.
