Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). As an NICU nurse, you will provide specialized care to newborns who require intensive medical attention. Duties:
- Monitor and assess the vital signs of newborns in the NICU
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide emotional support and education to parents regarding their baby's condition and care
- Perform procedures such as IV insertions, blood draws, and feeding tube placements
- Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a hospital setting, preferably in the NICU
- Proficient in pain management techniques for infants
- Knowledge of medical terminology and standards of nursing practice
- Familiarity with discharge planning for NICU patients
- Ability to lift and move infants safely
- Experience with infant care, including feeding, bathing, and diapering

Pay: $2,899.00 - $2,952.00 per week
