As a Registered Nurse, You Will:
- Provide education and staff training on IV administration, injections, and pharmacy process changes
- Administer vaccines on behalf of the pharmacy
- Provide point of care testing
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding medication regimens and other relevant information
- Work closely with the pharmacy team to track and manage medication-related issues
- Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care
- Rollout pharmacy initiatives to communities and customers
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, pharmacy protocols, and healthcare policies
- Conduct medication room and medication pass audits
- Support pharmacy-related on site auditing
- Maintain accurate records and documenting outcomes
Job Type: Full Time
Pay Range: 38 - $48 per hour
Required Qualifications:
- Valid and current RN license in the state of practice
- Previous experience in Long Term Care or related healthcare setting is preferred
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, medication administration, and healthcare protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
