Role:Registered Nurse (full-time, part-time, per diem)
Location: Openings in the Bronx, Manhattan, Brooklyn, & Queens. Per Diem (Contract) and Direct Hire (Full-Time) Employment available.
Overview: Pride Health is hiring RNs on a per diem basis to work in various group homes, residential facilities, shelters, and day programs with intellectually/developmentally disabled individuals. New Grad RNs are welcome and encouraged to apply for consideration. Several available opportunities for part-time/per diem contract work and Direct Hire employment.
Duties (may vary by location):
· Perform rescue interventions for a few designated residents, including VNS magnets, Rectal Diastat, and Nasal Nayzilam.
· Administer medications as prescribed to residents.
· Male Catheterization for residents, sterile (urinary trach) & nonsterile (abdomen).
· Seizure management, comfort care, triage of illnesses in the facility including falls and basic first aid.
· Additional duties outlines during interview by RN leader.
· Phlebotomy/blood draws, EKG may be required for some patients.
· Coordination of healthcare needs of consumers.
· Provide routine patient care and healthcare assessments.
Pay: $43.00 – 46.00/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday (Day Shifts) available, weekend shifts available as well (Days/Evenings/Overnights).
