ABOUT THE POSITION:RN's must have proficiency in starting IV's. Patient load per day: 15-25. The ideal candidate is positive, outgoing, a great multitasker and able to make their patients feel at ease.
New CLINICS will plan on opening in mid- January to early February 2024. Training will take place at our Santa Monica/Pacific Palisades clinics during December and January.
Our clinic hours will change to range from 8:30am to 6:30pm and Saturdays and Sundays 9am-5pm.
Full-Time Requirements: 2 shifts a week, 7 to 12 shifts a month which includes 3 weekend shifts a month. Must have availability Friday through Monday.
ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION- Competitive Hourly Wage including TIps!
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Consult and coordinate with Hydration Room MD on staff and/or standing orders to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient IV or injection therapy plans.
- Administering IV and injection therapies/medications
- Instruct individuals on topics such as health education and general preventative health measures such as diet and exercise.
- Maintain accurate, detailed reports and health records.
- Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions.
- Being able to function in the heat of emergency and act according to protocol.
- Works with the Lead Nurse Practitioner to maintain nursing supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies; using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
- Keeps the clinic in compliance with Hydration Room inspections before and after each shift
- Understands great customer service and patient care
- Maintains a safe, secure and clean environment for customers
Please Note: Four to Five shifts of Training will be conducted.
Job Summary: The Nurse position will be overseeing patient-care operations.
Job Class and Reports To: The Nurse position will be a full time, non-exempt position that reports to the District Lead Nurse, Regional Clinic Director and Doctor/Owner at Hydration Room.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Administering IV and injection therapies/medications

- Works with Facilities Manager to maintain nursing supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies; using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
- Keeps the clinic in compliance with The Hydration Room inspections before and after each shift
- Understands great customer service and patient care
- Maintains a safe, secure and clean environment for customers
- Responsible for overseeing Wellness Coordinator II staff at clinics
- Maintains documentation of patient care services.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned by management staff.
Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of IV Clinic procedures
- Proficient patient charting system, scheduling systems, Microsoft Office, or related software.
- Excellent organizational skills and problem-solving skill
Education and Experience:
- Valid Nurse License with no sanctions
- BSN or diploma in nursing
- Two years of related experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to traverse the entire facility.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Salary Description
$52 an hour plus TIPS -avg ($10-$24) an hour
