Job Description
Compass Government Solutions is currently hiring an ICU Registered, pending award, for a role at Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston, TX to provide on-site care for military Veterans to provide a high level of direct care to the patient.
Job Requirements of the ICU Registered Nurse (RN):
- Providing care to critically ill or seriously injured patients in intensive care units
- Monitoring patient's vital signs and responding to emergencies
- Assisting in taking medical history and performing physical examinations
- Administering medication and performing various diagnostic procedures
- Providing information and support to patients and their families
Qualifications
Qualifications of the ICU Registered Nurse (RN):
- Graduate from an accredited University for nursing
- Full unrestricted license to practice as an RN in a US state, territory, or Commonwealth.
- Experience working in an intensive care setting as an RN
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
