Our integrated medical center provides a wide range of specialties, including Primary Care, the Women’s and Children’s Center, the Door Orthopedic Center, Behavioral Health, General Surgery, the Door County Cancer Center, a skilled nursing facility, and rehabilitation services facilities among others. The Registered Nurse coordinates and administers quality patient and family care that is compassionate, holistic, respectful and value-driven. Has confident communication skills and acts as a patient advocate. The RN utilizes the nursing process to perform assessment of the patient’s physical, psychosocial and spiritual needs; planning, development and implementation of a multi-disciplinary plan of care; and evaluation of the patient’s response to care. The RN will strive to excel in skill performance, personal growth and professional excellence.
Education Required: Graduate of an approved school of nursing, BSN preferred.
Credential/Licensure Required: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of employment; Trauma Nurse Core Curriculum (TNCC) or Advance Trauma Life Support (ATLS) within one year of employment; Pediatric Course encouraged; ENPC or PALS.
Shift: Working 30 hours a week, primarly on the Day shift (6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.) with an occcation PM shift (12:00 p.m.- 12:00 p.m.) also rotating weekends and holidays.
