Position: Cardiovascular NeuroRegistered Nurse ( CV Neuro RN )
Shift:
- Full-time: Nights 7pm - 7:30am or Days 7am - 7:30pm with rotating weekends and holiday schedule.
- Part-time: Nights 7pm - 7:30am or Days 7am - 7:30pm, weekends/holidays (24 hours/week)
- On-call Requirements: Census-driven. On-Call Response Time: 1 hour from notification time. On-call has opportunity to supplement with PTO (They can choose whether to take PTO or go in, if the census is low ONLY). Rate when called in is regular hourly rate.
Pay: Depends on experience, starting at $34.68/hr plus benefits; Shift Differential: $3.00/hour for PM, $4.50 for Nights, $1.90 for Weekends/Holidays.

Position Requirements:
- License: IL RN License
- Certifications: BLS; ACLS and NiHSS within one (1) year
- Experience: 1 year acute inpatient experience
- Education: Associates required with BSN within 5 years.
About the Unit
The 60 bed unit has a various diagnoses including cardiac and neuro (stroke, chest pain, acute MI CHF, A-fib). Many opportunities for education and growth within the department and the hospital!
- Nurse to Patient ratio of 1:4,5 for days and 1:5,6 for nights.
- Provide professional nursing care according in accordance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act, and hospital policies and procedures.
- Employ critical thinking skills, assesses patients’ condition, recognizes changes, plans and evaluates care, monitors patients’ progress, and records pertinent observations.
- Using the Relationship-Based Care Model and Person-Centered Care, RNs in this department admit, care for, educate, encourage, manage symptoms, and discharge patients from day-to-day.
