The Cardiology Nurse provides quality nursing care to all CMC/D-HK patients. Responsibilities include meeting or exceeding the standards of performance as established for employment at Dartmouth-Hitchcock-Keene, assessing the needs of patients who call or walk in to clinic, determining service required and providing advice, scheduling appointment or triage as necessary, reviewing charts of scheduled patients to check that current lab, X-ray or procedure reports are available for provider, and performing necessary functions on computer, i.e.: call for chart, schedule appointments.
Must maintain current Nursing Licensure in the state of practice. Current CPR certification required. Cardiology experience and the ability to start IVs required. Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills and have the ability to relate well at all levels. Emphasis on ability to prioritize and make appropriate judgement decisions.
