Job Description
This position is per diem, 7a-7p and 7p-7a
Functioning under moderate supervision, the Registered Nurse is, at minimum, a competent practitioner. This level clinician utilizes the nursing process in providing patient care and patient/family teaching. The practitioner organizes and implements safe, therapeutic, and efficient patient care in controlled settings with predictable outcomes. Patients served may include neonate through adult-geriatric.
Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Currently licensed as an RN in the State of Maryland
- Successful completion of required hospital, nursing, and unit orientation, including but not limited to BLS certification and medication certification required.
- ACLS required (PACU, ICCU, ED) as well as units listed in certification policy, NRP required (Obstetrical-Nursery) or eligible for completion of course within six (6) months from date in position.
- One year’s experience as an RN is required.
