On behalf of Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital, staff Registered Nurses are needed for the Cardiac Stroke Unit. If interested, apply here for immediate consideration.
Position: Cardiac/Stroke Registered Nurse
Location: 23845 McBean Pkwy, Valencia, CA 91355
Shift: Nights 7pm - 7am, every other weekend and rotating holidays
Pay: Pay is based on experience between $44 and $68.68/hr
Other Incentives: Shift Differential, Benefits (Health, dental, etc.), Tuition reimbursement, sign-on bonus of $15,000 (1 year commitment).
Requirements:
- License: Current CA RN License
- Certification: Current BLS and ACLS
- Experience: 1 year related hospital experience preferred
- Education: ASN
Responsibilities:
- Delivers individualized quality patient care through a coordinated team approach with physicians, staff, other departments and the patient’s family and/or significant others.
- Utilizes appropriate pain management techniques.
- Educates the patient, family and/or significant other regarding pain management.
- Administers medications and treatments according to HMHMH’s policies, procedures and accepted standards of care.
- Effectively engages patients, families and/or significant others regarding the plan of care, short and long term goals, progression toward goal achievement, including discharge planning.

Henry Mayo offers tremendous resources to RNs. Retention rate is 98%, and turnover is very low. Located in a lovely area - North of LA, very family oriented. The units are like a family, length of service in the facility is long. A lot of CNA assistance which RN's love. Level II Trauma Center - 356 beds.
