Registered Nurse

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles
- Perform nursing assessments, develop and implement nursing care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and reactions to treatments
- Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures
- Educate patients and their families on disease processes, treatment plans, and self-care techniques
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean working environment

Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Alabama
- Preference given to candidates with prior medical ICU and/or outpatient internal medicine experience.
- Proficient in various nursing skills including senior care, working with people with developmental disabilities, medical terminology, specimen collection processing, and triage
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
