Women's Surgical facility specializing in termination of pregnancies in search of a OR/PACU Registered Nurse to come join our team. We are looking for a RN with experience but are willing to train the right candidate. Position requires an active NJ Nursing License in good standing. Having BLS, ACLS and bilingual in Spanish is preferred. Please submit your resume with the best time you can be reached.
Purpose and Scope: The Staff Registered Nurse is a Registered Professional Nurse who has clinical and administrative responsibility for the OR Floor. When sterile procedures are performed in the O.R. suite the Operating Room RN has the clinical responsibility for planning, coordinating, controlling, and carrying out direct and indirect patient care activities supportive to the medical program of care and based on actual and potential patient needs. The Circulating RN plays a vital role in facilitating the performance of the operative procedure through alert observation, assessment, and recognition of needs, ability to set priorities, initiative, sound judgment and competence in coordinating and carrying out activities in his/her operating room. This person observes and enforces strict standards of asepsis, controls traffic and environmental cleanliness in the room.
