Registered Dental Hygienist

Our growing family practice is looking for an Registered Dental Hygienist to add to our dental team. The position is for a minimum of 3 days a week with maximum of 4 days with hours on Mondays and Thursdays with flexibility for Tuesdays and/or Wednesdays. We are looking for someone with experience in dental hygiene, great clinical skills, the ability to recognize and explain needed dental procedures, and the capability to work effectively as a team member. This person should possess good time management skills, proficient computer and technology skills, and be an effective communicator with patients, doctors, and other team members.

Our perfect candidate would be able to administer local anesthetic and nitrous oxide, properly treat periodontal disease, make detailed and comprehensive clinical notes, and take excellent diagnostic digital x-rays.

As a Dental Hygienist, you should be reliable and able to build trust with patients of all ages. If you have exceptional verbal skills and desire to give each patient their best dental experience, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible
• Sterilize dental instruments properly
• Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history
• Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis
• Educate patients
• Take X-rays
• Assist dentists with selecting appropriate treatments for various diseases
• Maintain documentation and charts on each patient

• Valid Wisconsin license to practice
