Registered Dental Hygienist

McKee Family Dentistry in Loveland, CO is looking for a full or part time Registered Dental Hygienist to join our state of the art practice. We are seeking a team player, who is energetic and dependable to seamlessly transition into our dental team. Exceptional clinical, communication, and computer skills are expected. Ability to develop good rapport with patients is also an expectation. McKee is looking to give our patients the best possible dental experience.

Responsibilities:

- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
- Take dental x-rays
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide oral health instructions
- Conduct thorough dental assessments and screenings
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed
- Document patient treatment plans, progress, and notes in Dentrix
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient and effective patient care

Qualifications:

- Valid Dental Hygienist license in Colorado
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
- Proficiency in using Dentrix
- Excellent knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate patient records
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to continuing education and staying updated on the latest advancements in dental hygiene

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $46.00 - $50.00 per hour
