We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting our dental professionals in providing quality dental care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include assisting with dental procedures, taking vital signs, maintaining patient records, and ensuring infection control protocols are followed. ```Responsibilities```
- Assist dentists and hygienists during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures
- Take and record patients' vital signs
- Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures
- Perform dental receptionist duties, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile environment
- Take and develop dental X-rays as directed by the dentist
- Assist with laboratory tasks such as pouring models and fabricating temporary crowns
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment
```Requirements```
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program
- Current certification in CPR
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and equipment
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols and aseptic technique
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
