Job Description
Northeastern Rural Health Dental Clinics is seeking Registered Dental Assistants to join our growing team of dental professionals. The primary role of the Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) is to assist the dentist as necessary to gain the patient's commitment for the best possible treatment with urgency. Registered Dental Assistants will be responsible for tray set-ups for patient treatment, seat and dismiss patients, take x-rays, treatment charting, chair side assisting with Dentist during patient treatments, break down operatory rooms and re-set for next patients, clean and sterilize, help with maintenance of dental equipment, and assist with explanation of treatment option and treatment coordinating with patient. Registered Dental Assistant will also perform fabrication of temp crowns, sealants, RCT, preliminary impressions, lab work, and coronal polish.
Responsibilities
- Handle multiple tasks, prioritize job duties, and work in a fast paced work environment.
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment where your patients feel comfortable; prepare patients for treatment, and assist the doctors - thereby enabling them to provide efficient, quality dental treatment.
- At the direction of the dentist, complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures of patients as appropriate.
- At the direction of the dentist, instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care.
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment in accordance with OSHA and Infection Control Guidelines.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay Range: ($17.40 - $21.83 per hour, depending on experience)

Qualifications
- Possess California Registered Dental Assistant license and radiation certification.
- Have current BLS certificate.
- Must have reliable transportation
- One year of experience working or volunteering in a clinic setting

- can lift up to 25 pounds
- can sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time (more than 3 hours)
