The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is a non-exempt (hourly) position responsible for maintaining excellent clinical standards set forth by UCP Heartland (UCPH). The RBT is responsible for the implementation of treatment programs written by the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and is based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). The RBT role is a key position within UCPH building strong relationships with clients, families and has direct impact on each child's outcomes. Essentials of the Job:
- Implement ABA treatment programs as written by the BCBA.
- Conduct quality 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in a clinic-based setting.
- Collect data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of the individualized treatment plan.
- Provide hands-on, direct care while following the principles of ABA.
- Communicating clearly and effectively – both orally and written – with clients, families, and colleagues.
- Provide regular written and verbal progress on treatment goals.
- Attend meetings, trainings, and workshops to acquire further knowledge.
- Follow all agency, regulatory and accreditation policies and procedures.
- Valid Driver's License with dependable transportation required.
