The position of Regional Technical Products Sales Manager is positioned as the go-to product expert for technology products and services targeting company’s dealers and end-users. Serves as the primary point of contact for product sales and service to company’s dealers and end-users on assigned products. Responsible for gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, product vision, product support and troubleshooting, product last time buy, sales promotional programs, and working closely with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction goals are met. Executes product sales and direct-to-customer support activities within an assigned territory in support the company’s overall strategy and goals.
Serves as a primary contact for company’s dealers and users in the design, sales, service, account management, and support of technology products including but not limited to CropX, ReinCloud, RC10, VRI, RPM series main control panels, Navigator GPS, and similar product offerings.
Works with and through Reinke Territory Managers and dealerships to achieve sales goals jointly agreed to with Director of Domestic Irrigation.
Responsible for handling the daily inbound/outbound dealer and end-user support hot lines pertaining to company’s products and services and provide exceptional customer support and product troubleshooting.
Responsible for product sales targets on assigned products within an assigned territory.
In conjunction with each dealer develops an action plan designed to achieve desired sales objectives for that dealership.
QualificationsRequires a thorough knowledge of customer needs for Irrigation products and of the products available. Significant work experience is expected–3 to 5 years or more–in one or more of the following areas: product development, business management, product marketing, technical sales management, technical support, product design engineering or equivalents. Five or more years in-industry (Mechanized Irrigation Equipment) is also preferred.
A bachelor’s degree in agriculture engineering, software, electrical or mechanical engineering, business management, marketing, or similar field of study; and/or equivalent relevant work experience is preferred.
Duties will involve with long-range planning, design, costs, profit margins, as well as other confidential and proprietary information.
Requires an ongoing commitment for meeting or exceeding established sales goals and towards continuous improvement in all aspects of job performance.
Requires the ability to travel extensively both domestically and internationally.
