SalaryWe are seeking a talented and innovative Product Manager with a focus on marketing to join our team at our sporting goods store.
The Product Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing product strategies, managing the product lifecycle, and driving marketing initiatives to maximize sales and customer engagement. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and a passion for sports and outdoor activities.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute product strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, sales, and marketing.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
Define product requirements and features based on market insights and customer feedback.
Manage the product lifecycle from conception to launch, including product development, pricing, and positioning.
Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to source new products and negotiate terms.Work closely with the Marketing Manager to develop and execute marketing campaigns, including advertising, promotions, and product launches.
Create compelling product messaging and content for various marketing channels, including website, social media, and email.
Monitor and analyze product performance metrics, such as sales, margins, and customer feedback, to drive continuous improvement.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in product management and marketing.Act as a product evangelist internally and externally, providing product training and support to sales associates and customers.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
Proven experience in product management, preferably in the retail or sports industry.Strong understanding of marketing principles and techniques, including digital marketing and branding.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Fluent in Chinese or Mandarin is required.
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and project management tools.
Passion for sports and outdoor activities is preferred.
