Position Summary: The VP of Digital Product Management will oversee the vision and lifecycle of Digital Products. They will devise strategy, prioritize the product roadmap, partner with stakeholders, and oversee the execution of high-impact initiatives. This person will interface with diverse groups both internal and external to UBT, including Engineering, Operations, Development, Marketing, Customer Service, and Executive Leadership while representing the voice of the customer. This role reports to the CIO and is located in our Lincoln, NE office.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Create and communicate a compelling vision for UBT’s portfolio of Digital Products.
  • Define the roadmap, break down the work into a well-prioritized plan, and execute.
  • Prioritize customers and digital experience. Collaborate with marketing and customer service to glean Customer insights, market research, and competitive intelligence. Drive user research, data analysis, and user testing that informs product requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with the full cross functional team (development, engineering, design, operations, customer service, marketing, security) to help execute the strategic vision.
  • Manage a team of one or more Digital Product Managers, ensuring they have clear goals and responsibilities. Provide guidance to help them excel, and constructive feedback when necessary. Build a work environment that draws people to the team.
  • Own the Digital Product Management framework for the organization. Provide standards, resources, and guidance to Digital Product Managers to ensure effective execution and accountability.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from our customers, business partners, and operations team to distill down into actionable insights.
  • Define and analyze metrics that determine the success of the Digital Product portfolio.
  • Curate a culture of experimentation for creating new user-centric capabilities. Run rapid experimentation cycles to test hypothesis and optimize launched products.
  • Monitor the competitive and technological landscape for opportunities and/or product implications.
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure service levels and contract requirements are maintained.
  • Ensure direct and indirect reports are trained and comply with bank policy, laws, and regulations applicable to their roles. Monitor their adherence to internal controls and initiates action to address employee performance issues.
  • Understand and adhere to all bank policies, laws, and regulations applicable to their role. Complete compliance training; follow internal processes and controls as required.
  • Report all compliance issues, violations of law or regulations in accordance with the steps defined in bank policies.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
  • Perform other job-related duties or special projects as assigned.   

Qualifications:

  • B.S. in a technology development related field or applicable experience required.
  • At least 5+ years of experience in Product Management, owning product strategy and product roadmaps required.
  • Passion for leading and developing direct reports.
  • Proven track record of successful delivery of Digital Products
  • Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced agile environment.
  • Superior communications skills, written and verbal. Experience presenting to executive leadership.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrate high energy/creativity and entrepreneurial skills.

Working Environment:

Mostly indoor work with occasional exposure to outdoor elements or hazards.

Medium workload – lifting and/or carrying up to 20 pounds frequently and exerting up to 75 pounds of force occasionally.

Some travel required.

This role is eligible for hybrid work from home opportunity under the work from home guidelines upon completion of onboarding.
