As an Aftermarket Sales Specialist/Regional Sales Support Coordinator, you will be reporting to the Strategic Operations Manager, and will involve direct collaboration with the equipment and chemical sales teams to help ensure smooth sales, operational and administrative procedures. This role will be comprised of researching, quoting, and customer facing interactions. A focus on sales through specialized product knowledge will help develop customer relationships and contribute to the overall success of the sales team. In this position, you will also be responsible for working with existing customers and liaising with internal departments. The ideal candidate possesses a strong sales background, along with excellent organizational and communication skills.
Job Duties:
- Cold calling on an existing database to generate new business opportunities
- Conducting discovery calls to understand customers’ business and set up in order to make educated recommendations
- Create accurate quotes based on specific customer needs
- Execute sales contracts
- Coordinate with the installation team to determine appropriate resource allocation and project follow-through
- Manage pipeline through the use of Salesforce CRM
- Actively log all customer interactions in CRM platform
- Maintain data integrity and correct customer/account data as needed
- Prospecting for new business as needed
- Acting as a point of contact for customer inquiries and providing follow-up in a timely manner
- Acting as a liaison between customers and internal departments, including managing and scheduling customer training and other meetings/activities
- Communicating progress and status updates across departments to help effectively manage project timelines
- Providing administrative support, including keeping internal systems and databases (i.e. CRM) up-to-date.
- Review contracts and resolve financial issues
- Maintain customer financial/quotation databases
- Schedule and attend video conference calls with internal staff and external customers
- Works closely with sales representatives, order management and/or production team to review product sales and customer requirements; plans for the overall timely processing of sales orders
- Able to travel up to 10% of the time
- Comply with all applicable OHSA, ESA, and other provincial regulatory laws, as well as company safety policies
- Any other duties as assigned by the Senior Leadership team.
Qualifications:
- Successful completion of a post-secondary degree or diploma in Finance, Business Administration and/or a related field preferred but not required
- 2+ years of experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM tool
- 2+ years professional sales experience, preferably in the technology/software/automotive industry
- 1+ years using Oracle (NetSuite) CPQ
- 1+ years in cold calling
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Eager to learn, curious about technology and business core values.
- Professional and friendly attitude, with a commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Strong technical aptitude with proficiency in Google Workspace, and MS Office.
