Job Description Qualifications:
The Boeing Company is looking for a Manufacturing Plannerto join our Boeing Commercial Airlines (BCA) Fabrication Division team in Salt Lake City, Utah and/or West Jordan, Utah on 2nd shift.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manufacturing planning responsibilities covering multiple buildings on 2nd shift
  • Composite assembly/fabrication for the 787 Horizontal and Vertical Stabilizer
  • Metals assembly/fabrication for multi-model flight deck structure and 737 Automatic Overwing Exit (AOE) doors
  • Maintenance of installation/Assembly Detail Process Plans (ADPP) to ensure content meets process/procedure requirements as well as engineering intent
  • Response to emergent requests via the Shipside Action Tracker (SAT) system and analyzing/ resolving other manufacturing build related issues through the coordination of all affected support organizations
  • Support any nonconformance related rework activities
  • Ensure that all parts, plans, and processes are in place for manufacturing to incorporate all rework that is planned according to the disposition of the Nonconformance Record (NCR)
  • Must have the ability to interrogate and interpret engineering requirements
  • Assist with shop floor and Line Side Control Center (LSCC) to develop and implement process improvements

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. Tomeet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Can solve routine problems of limited scope and complexity by following established practices and procedures
  • Experience working with tools and following work instructions
  • Experience reading blueprints, working with manufacturing plans, and reviewing instructions for aerospace manufacturing processes

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience using CATIA V5, ENOVIA, DELMIA
  • Experience in PDM, CAPP II, CMES, & NCM
  • Experience with "Engineering Information Delivery" or the Reference Engineering Drawing Automated Retrieval System (REDARS)

Typical Education/Experience:
Associate (Level 2)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor, 3 years' related work experience, etc.).
Mid-Level (Level 3)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.).
