This position will cover the Western United States and the individual will need to reside on the West Coast.
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the distribution and sales of the company's products and services throughout a particular region. They are responsible for meeting the sales and margin targets of the organization through effective planning, and proactively engaging with customers and distributors to ensure continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
Function & Responsibilities:
- Develop self to become/remain an expert in company product and services
- Presale consulting/educating/promoting
- Making sales – Closing
- Fulfillment, transit and install coordination on industrial projects
- Customer satisfaction follow-up on industrial projects
- Develop and maintain an organized means of tracking orders to follow-up with PM, Rebuild or Replacement at the appropriate times
- Strive to understand customer applications and needs & effectively provide solutions with our products and services
- Provide the necessary support to distributors to enable them to generate market leads and close new deals
- Follow-up with individual, focused product training and marketing efforts as needed to best support the distributors immediate needs
- Recommend service and product enhancements to improve sales potential, profitability and customer satisfaction
- Assist in establishing sales objectives by projecting expected sales volume and forecasting and developing sales quotas for territories and the region
- Follow up on leads/inquiry calls promptly to secure high closing and conversion rates
- Identify new business opportunities to uplift the Regional Sales volume
- Perform other tasks as required
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as a Regional Sales Manager or similar sales role
- Highly organized and detail oriented

Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 to 10 years of cooking/baking/donut application and/or sales experience
- Project Lead / Coordinator experience
- Advanced experience in ERP software data acquisition and analysis
- Advanced MS Excel skills
Physical Requirements / Working Conditions:
- Travel (up to 75%) - customers, distributors, shows and expos, and company factory/plant
- Hands on equipment setup, diagnostics, and application assistance
- Remote Work – Available and reachable during normal office hours
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
