Job Description
The Territory Sales Manageris an ambassador for the company brand, responsible for new dealer/distributor acquisition while developing existing accounts in the Southeast region which includes West Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi and the Florida Panhandle.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Target audience includes: Dealers, Distributors, Contractors, Builders, Architects and Designers.
Identify and set up new accounts to increase market share and bolster overall sales volume.
Service existing accounts with the goal of nurturing relationships and increasing sales.
Meet & exceed assigned monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
Set up product displays at dealer / designer locations and modify as appropriate.
Work independently yet cooperatively with the company to achieve team goals and directives.
Maintain professionalism presence and appearance with clients and team members.
Resolve any client concerns and complaints by developing viable and win-win solutions.
Promote products at various tradeshows, industry events, participate in ongoing training with key business partners and social media platforms.
Keep clients informed about new products and offerings through the organization and execution of informational product presentations.
Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers.
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 5+ years B2B sales experience.
Minimum of 3+ years previous Tile & Stone experience - Will consider building materials
background with distributor sales experience.
BA or BA degree preferred.
Excellent knowledge of design and color
Must be comfortable to work in autonomous environment without constant direction and
support.
Strong local knowledge within the territory of market dynamics and strong relationships with
key customers in dealer/distributor channel
Strategic and tactical thinking abilities.
Application of common sense, logic, & reasoning.
Always maintain professional appearance and behavior.
Candidate must be proficient with laptop computer, MS Office QuickBooks and CRM software.
Clean driving record and reliable transportation is required with vehicle that can carry several
product displays/ sample boards.
Ability to lift and carry up to 65 lbs.
