Job Details


The main duties of the Area Sales Manager encompass overseeing their territory, nurturing customer relationships, and marketing the capital equipment offered by us.
Key Responsibilities:
Strengthen relationships with diverse stakeholders at customer sites, including Complex Managers, Plant Management, Maintenance Managers, and Engineers across active and potential customer bases.
Attain expertise in the current equipment, production processes, and maintenance protocols within the existing customer network.
Drive the sales of all the equipment offerings within the designated territory, covering new full lines, replacement equipment, and associated spare parts and services.
Develop and execute a comprehensive communication plan ensuring consistent interaction with customers of all levels, incorporating regular travel for face-to-face engagements.
Collaborate with the Director of Sales to devise corporate-level strategies for growth and territory expansion.
Effectively utilize and manage information within the CRM system, maintaining a healthy pipeline of opportunities.
Identify prospects for customer demonstrations, both on-site and at the premises, and explore avenues for expanding the existing equipment portfolio or introducing new products.
Job Requirements:
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Willingness to travel extensively via automobile and air across multiple states and Canada, accounting for 75% travel per week.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft and Google products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to function effectively within a team, taking on leadership roles as needed.
Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and highly organized.
5-10 years of experience in Capital Equipment Sales exceeding $250K.
Attainment or development of a comprehensive technical understanding of all the equipment offerings.
Some college experience or a technical degree required, with a preference for a 4-year degree.
Proven track record in successful relationship-building and sales performance.
Familiarity with CRM systems.
Possession of a valid driver's license and current Passport, given the territory spans regions across the U.S. and Canada.
