Job Summary

Responsible for representing RAYUS Radiology's medical care program to hospitals, physicians, chiropractors, HMO's, PPO's, employer groups, brokers, employees, and members of the community in your assigned market to increase revenues and market share. Leading the sales process for mobile or fixed site Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) or Positron Emission Topography (PET) units as well as the interim equipment business line by establishing and developing new business leads, proposals and presentations, and renewing or extending current units and accounts. This is a non-management position.

Candidate will need to reside within one of the following states: Texas, Missouri, Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

(70%) Sales Leadership

  • Leads contract negotiations for new long term or Interim mobile or fixed site MRI, CTor PET units
  • Renews, extends and/or maintains current units and accounts within territory at full capacity.
  • Establishes and develops new business leads through professional contracts within the industry (i.e. vendor sales staff, radiology groups, existing partners etc.) Serves as a representative of the company within the community through public speaking engagements, membership in civic organizations, and participation in trade shows, health fairs, and other community activities as appropriate
  • Follows through on qualified leads via telephone, correspondence, or personal meetings
  • Develops proposals and presentations for the prospect, obtains commitment and follows through to ensure maximum potential and effective transition of responsibility to the appropriate company representative
  • Partners with internal team members, including operations leadership, finance, legal, site planning, sales, marketing and executive management through entire sales and implementation process
  • Manages time and resources in locating, developing and qualifying leads (i.e. phone contact, personal interaction, travel, expenses, etc.)
  • Maintains records of prospective contacts, call reports, territory/account profiles, expense reports and other various required records
  • Maintains the SalesForce.com database regularly with appropriate data from prospect and client contacts
  • Works with the broker community as a partner in selling the Company's products and services
  • Ensures that any terminated rental units are promptly replaced with new rentals or redeployed into field routes or business
  • Secures equipment rentals from third party providers when needed by Company in order to fulfill interim orders
  • Works with Marketing department on implementation of sales strategies for territory, including development of collateral
  • Ensures ethical and sound working relationships are in place with vendors, staff, radiologists, hospitals and all other professional contacts
  • Completes Interim deliveries and turnovers if required

 

(25%) Market Research

  • Develops extensive knowledge of the health care industry, local competition, and health plan policies, procedures, and organization
  • Monitors the marketplace or territory on a continuing basis to assess competition and economic changes
  • Contributes to the success of the sales team through best practice sharing and active involvement on division-wide sales initiatives

Requirements

Required:

  • Associate's degree in Marketing, Business, Health Care or a related field
  • 5 years of previous sales experience
  • Valid driver's license and proof of current insurance
  • Valid US Passport and ability to travel

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Health Care or a related field
  • Health care sales experience
  • Familiarity with basic usage of MRI, CT and PET systems
