Who you are....
The Regional Operations Manager is responsible for multiple precast plants to develop and implement business strategies, lead, and support a high performing safety culture and continuous plant improvement activities, drive the development of new products and markets, and build and develop effective teams across the mid-Atlantic region to achieve superior financial performance and growth.
This Position
  1. Work with Sr. Sales Manager to utilize creative and strategic agility to recognize and size up existing and emerging market and production opportunities in precast.
  2. Create operation plans, monitor forecasts and work with sales to establish a master fulfillment schedule.
  3. Manage multiple precast plant operations and engineering team to ensure production demands are met to meet product delivery to customers.
  4. Assemble and develop great teams within the business region.
  5. Coach and mentor direct reports to ensure support and develop the skills to succeed in their roles.
  6. Instill a high-performance safety and continuous improvement culture throughout the region.
  7. Administer a customer experience to deepen relationships through fostering a service culture of continuously improving quality and on time delivery.
  8. Present project - specific solutions to internal and external customers and respond to clients on project-specific inquiries and industry questions.
  9. Full P&L responsibility. Manage regional precast production business to ensure profitability, efficiency, and operational excellence.
  10. Planning and prioritizing to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals and to maintain business work performance, culture and KPIs.
  11. Responsible to develop a Lean culture based around Lean Principles.
  12. Maintain standards and procedures.

What Do You Need
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering or Related Field
  • 7+ years of progressive management / executive experience in Precast Industry required
  • Excellent analytical, financial and communication skills (written and oral).
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, growth environment.
  • Proven background in managing P&L and budget management, with achieving results.
  • Ability to energize others, instill a high safety culture and develop a highly effective team.
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills; knowledgeable in ERP and production management software platforms.
  • Proven track record to build strong identity teams that apply their diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals.
  • Ability to hold staff and others accountable to meet their commitments.
  • Passion for building relationships and connecting inside and outside the organization.
