Regional Nurse Manager

The Regional Nurse Manager will be supervising 8-10 field nurses within the Central/West Region ( AZ, CA, CO, ID, MT, NE, WY, WA, UT, OR, NV, NM, ND, SD, TX, OK, KS). This position is a remote role. Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. Person must be willing to travel within their region when necessary.

RESPONSIBLITIES/ STANDARDS:

• Ensures the quality and safe delivery of intrathecal infusion therapy services in alternative care settings
• Training and overseeing all new hires within district per IPM Policy and Procedures
• Yearly competency skills evaluation for all IPM nurses within district
• Conduct one-on-ones with each nurse every quarter to go over that nurse’s KPI's
• Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws
• Maintain ongoing liaison with governing body, professional advisory group, staff members and community
• Ensure nurses in the regions have all necessary supplies
• Make sure nurses have appropriate number of patients assigned to them
• Ensuring compliance per IPM Policy and Procedure and implementing plan of care when needed
• Ensuring patient coverage within district and stepping in when a nurse is unable to see a patient
• Maintain a census of 10-15 patients

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Valid and current UT RN license
• Minimum of two years acute hospital experience which included IV therapy duties
• Demonstrated knowledge of physical assessment and IV therapy skills
• Current valid driver’s license
• Team leading or case management skills
