Advanced Dermatology, P.C is seeking a Dynamic Regional Director to join our team!

This role will oversee multiple locations in our NYC & Bronx locations.

Position Summary

Responsible for the daily planning, work schedule, coordination, operational and financial
performance of multiple Advanced Dermatology offices. The Regional Director retains overall
responsibility but may utilize supervisory staff to operationalize activities. Serves a s member
of the senior management team of Advanced Dermatology.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


Personnel Administration
 Reviews staffing needs to ensure practice is adequately staffed to meet the needs of
the providers and the organization.
 Responsible for all personnel issues in assigned region including but not limited to,
recruiting, hiring, orientating, training, coaching, counseling, and overall monitoring
of employee performance.

 Reviews and evaluates all supervised staff members annually in accordance with
Advanced Dermatology guidelines.
 Assess and revise work schedules of both Medical and Non-Medical staff in addition to
maintaining attendance records for all non-physician employees.
 Creates agenda and chairs staff meetings as necessary to ensure compliance to
Advanced Dermatology policies and procedures while managing quality assurance
measures.
 Adhere to the scope of practice for Medical Assistants and Ancillary Providers as
determined by the Medical Board of the State in which the employee is employed.
 Responsible for making sure all EMN's are complete, and all prescriptions are
processed by the end of the day by performing occasional audits and report results as
appropriate.
 Ensure that staff and providers document all patient, provider, and team member tasks
and messages in Practice Management system and Electronic Medical Records system
by performing occasional audits and report results as appropriate.


Financial Administration & Payroll
 Ensures daily patient payments are reconciled and balance to cash receipt logs.
 Maintains office petty cash system, assures ample funds available, adding funds, when
necessary, disburses funds upon submission of receipts.
 Approve or revise when applicable employee timecards; approve PTO request, monitor
overtime, ensure all employees take breaks and lunch breaks as required by law.
Monitor unauthorized absences ensuring offices are always staffed.
 Works with Revenue Cycle, Accounts Payable and Finance Departments to ensure
proper reconciliation of patient charges, packing slips, invoices, statements, and
receipts.
 Responsible for monitoring and controlling site expenses.
 Responsible for managing staffing based on agreed to budget and patient levels.


Management Reporting and Controls
 Manages Medical Staff schedule and requests for Paid Time Off including updating
providers schedule in practice management system.
 Assist in monitoring injectables, transducers, other supplies associated with devices
and product inventory by obtaining information from practice management system,
EMR and other available resources.
 Manage provider schedules and request for PTO including updating providers
templates in the practice management systems.
 Responsible for helping to ensure appropriate provider to patient ratios in part by
managing recall system and ensuring accuracy of online scheduling technology.
 Responsible for monitoring automated appointment reminder calls helping to reduce
no shows, while maintaining expected productivity of practices.


General Administration
 Working knowledge of all cosmetic services and products including injectables, fillers,
surgical procedures, lasers, and other aesthetic services in addition to all dermatologic
services. Serves as a Patient Care Coordinator when necessary. It is important that
more than one person is proficient in cosmetics. Each office should thoroughly know
about cosmetics and products and should be able to schedule cosmetic procedures,
such as, Botox, Fillers, Lasers. Cosmetic surgeries (Facelift, Liposculpture, etc.) should
be scheduled by the Cosmetic Concierge, Surgical Scheduler or RN as these procedures
may need anesthesia services.
 Ensure maintenance, organization, and completing of EMR, while ensuring strict
adherence to HIPAA guidelines.
 Primary point of contract for escalated patient complaints that the Office Manager
needs assistance in resolving.
 Coordinate office maintenance issues. Oversee the repair and maintenance of all office
equipment and facilities. Assists Vice President of Operations with decisions regarding
equipment needs and the use of facilities.
 Vendor relations
 Attends provider and department staff meetings as requested.
 Places orders and approves orders for supplies as needed.
 Coordinates audiovisual equipment readiness for patient education events.
Other projects and duties as directed by the Vice President of Operations.
