Job Title:Regional Clinical SupervisorDepartment:Family ServicesLocation:MWC Chula Vista, MWC Escondido, and MWC Moreno ValleyReports To:Clinical DirectorFLSA Status:Exempt Remote Status:Remote capacity is available Salary Range: $90,000
Position Summary
The Regional Clinical Supervisor reports to the Clinical Director and in collaboration with the Vice President, Family Services supervises MARSELL ORR Lead Clinical Social Workers. The Regional Clinical Supervisor is responsible for the operations within MWC Chula Vista, MWC Escondido, and MWC Moreno Valley, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services in compliance with ORR regulatory standards.

  • Supervises and provides support to the ORR Lead Clinical Social Workers and Clinical Social Workers in addition, functions as first line of clarity for management and senior management in collaboration with the Clinical Director and Vice President, Family Services.
  • Provides training, guidance, and mentorship to staff members, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Collaborating with senior management to develop and implement clinical programs and initiatives that align with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Ensuring that clinical services meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the quality of clinical services provided within the region and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards in the provision of clinical services.
  • Conducting regular performance evaluations of clinical staff members, providing constructive feedback, and establishing performance improvement plans when necessary.
  • Overseeing the collection, analysis, and reporting of clinical data and outcomes to track program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Building and maintaining positive working relationships with external stakeholders, such as referral sources, community partners, and regulatory agencies.
  • Handling crises or emergencies within the region, providing support and guidance to staff members, and implementing appropriate interventions.
  • Ensuring that clinical staff members adhere to organizational policies, procedures, and ethical guidelines in their practice.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervises employees in the Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Ensure that employee performance evaluations are completed on a timely basis.
  • Coordinate staffing schedules and supervision.
  • Supervise, coaches, and mentors staff providing guidance to their work and learning including, when necessary, corrective/disciplinary action in a timely and professional manner.
Conducts annual and probationary performance appraisals for assigned staff as assigned.

Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Experience: Master's degree or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be Licensed.

Language Ability:
Read, analyze and interpret business, professional, technical or governmental documents. Write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers and the public.
Mathematical Ability:
Comprehend and apply principles of advanced calculus, algebra and advanced statistical theory. Work with concepts such as limits, rings, quadratic and differential equations, and proofs of theorems.
Reasoning Ability:
Apply logical thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Deal with nonverbal symbolism (e.g., formulas and equations) in difficult phases. Deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills:
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Proficient in the use of standard office equipment.
