ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
JUUL is the market leader in the e-Cigarette category with a tremendous amount of growth potential. The Region Account Director will work directly for the Region Vice President as well as collaborate with Field Sales Directors, National Accounts Team, Strategy and Sales Execution to maximize sales through execution and market presence. This is an exciting opportunity to elevate sales planning and execution within existing customers as well as identify potential incremental partners to maximize our retail and distribution presence within the Region. In this role you'll be successful by utilizing several different skill sets; including leading a team of high performing Region Account Managers, advanced contract negotiating, the ability to manage distributor ordering capabilities, optimize retailer onboarding and planning/promotion, develop best in class processes to build efficiencies, as well as communicate across several internal and external stakeholder groups to drive sales execution in the marketplace.
Must live in Eastern Region
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Train, coach and lead Region Account Managers in identifying, selling and executing revenue generating programs with chain retail and distributor partners
- Work with cross functional departments to secure necessary resources that support chain retail and distributor programs and initiatives including trade marketing and category leadership materials
- Lead Region Account Managers in translating company directives and goals into actionable plans that can be executed in their chain retail and wholesale accounts
- Effectively communicate with JUUL Territory Managers and Division Managers, partner distributors, and chain retail customers agreed upon JUUL sales initiatives
- Routine management of sales execution and category leadership with all partner distributors and chain retail accounts
- Serve as an expert on competitive activity, regional key account and distributor needs, pricing, processes, programs, inventory, and sales opportunities
PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- 10+ years of Sales experience with retailers and distributors, preferably in the consumer products industry
- 5+ years direct people leadership experience
- Ability to travel approximately 50%
- Proven sales leadership ability with advanced business development skills
- Proven excellent verbal/written communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Analytical working knowledge using IRI, Nielsen, and MSA data to provide retail customers with fact-based category insights to elevate sales leadership position
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Highly self-motivated, results oriented, and ability to drive category leadership sales execution
- Strong internal and external customer orientation, demonstrated track record of building and maintaining relationships at the executive levels with chain retail and distributor customers and with the ability to succeed in a team environment
- Highly adaptable and inherently motivated to develop a portfolio growth strategy within the industry
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field

SALARY RANGES:
Salary varies by role, level and location, and is dependent on the cost of labor in a given
geographic region among other factors. These ranges may be modified at any time.
LOCATIONS:
Tier 1 Locations: San Francisco Bay Area and New York Metro Area
Tier 2 Locations: Los Angeles, Seattle, Washington DC, San Diego, Boston, Chicago, Philadelphia, Sacramento, Hawaii and North Carolina
Tier 3 Locations: Rest of US including Alaska and Puerto Rico

$163,000 - $206,000 USD

$150,000 - $190,000 USD
