About this position:

The Referral Coordinator role is vital in connecting our firm with other top-tier law firms and ensuring that clients are referred to the most appropriate and capable hands. This role will be the bridge between our firm and others, maintaining relationships, tracking outcomes, and guaranteeing client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Evaluate cases to determine if a referral is necessary and identify the most appropriate law firm for the case based on expertise, client needs, and location.
• Foster and maintain relationships/communication with a network of law firms to facilitate smooth case transfers and referrals.
• Monitor the progress of referred cases and maintain a database of referrals, outcomes, and feedback, keeping detailed notes on relationship pros and cons
• Properly track SOL’s and ensure cases are filed to protect SOL or properly and timely closed out if they are rejected by referral firm.
• Collaborate on referral fees and agreements, ensuring favorable terms for our firm.
• Identify opportunities to expand our referral network and regularly assess the performance and quality of partner firms.
• Liaise with clients to inform them of referral decisions and ensure their comfort and confidence in the process.
• Coordinate with the referral law firm to ensure when cases are reaching settlement, confirm when settled, and follow up to ensure disbursements are handled timely, and the firm receives its fees and all stages are documented for revenue projections

Our requirements are pretty straightforward. To qualify you must:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Law, or a related field; or equivalent work experience
• A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role or within the legal industry
• Strong understanding of various legal practices and specialties
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships.
• Negotiation skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Proficient in the use of law firm case management software, ( Litify- preferred)
• High level of professional ethics and integrity
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate and comprehensive records
• Kolbe with a Long Blue Line – 8 or 9
