2024 Summer Intern, Sales - National Key Accounts

Purpose of this Job

As the Sales National Key Accounts Summer Intern, you will support the Kroger sales team in creating the 2024 business plan specifically in the strategy development to bring Gen Z shoppers to grocery stores. Reporting to the Kroger National Account Manager, you will work with Red Bull Sales Leadership, Key Account Managers, Retailer Partners, and the Shopper Marketing Team to grow Red Bull Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) for the Large Format channel.

All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:

BUSINESS PLANNING SUPPORT

• Support the National Account Manager in developing the 2024 Customer Strategy
• Participate in Customer Strategy Meetings to gain knowledge and provide feedback on Strategy
• Partner with Red Bull HQ stakeholders to learn Red Bull's KPIs and how they guide strategy, identifying opportunities and gaps in the plan to strategize against
• Collaborate with Shopper Marketing team to gather division level marketing programs to build into 2024 plans
• Use data analytics and internal and external collaboration to contribute to the development of long-term customer strategy from creation to implementation

STRATEGIC PROJECT OWNERSHIP

• Identify business opportunities and provide qualitative and quantitative analytic recommendations to guide action to capture Gen Z Shoppers in Grocery Stores
• Attend customer meetings to learn marketing and targeting capabilities to attract Gen Z shoppers
• Attend Red Bull events to see how Red Bull attracts and speaks to Gen Z through event marketing
• Create playbook, a premium and impactful resource that will inform the larger organization how to attract Gen Z shoppers to grocery stores using data gathering and incorporate into business plan strategy
• Present created playbook to both company partners and Large Format accounts, including post analysis reporting

• At least 18 years of age
• Able to work in-person up to 40 hours per week

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to grow, change and excel within our organization and culture
• Actively enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student in a university or college
• Fluent in English (written and verbal); additional languages are a plus
