The Algorithms, Modeling and Assessments Division of Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA) has an immediate opening for an energetic, well-organized, full-time Recruiting & HR Assistant. Under direct supervision of the HR Administrator, the successful applicant will submit online job requisitions, screen applicant qualifications, schedule interviews, and assist with the onboarding process for new employees. This is an on-site position but does allow the option for a hybrid work schedule.
What you’ll do as a Recruiting & HR Assistant:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR files, records, and documentation.
- Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of HR files and records.
- Conduct or assist with new hire orientations.
- Conduct candidate phone screenings and conduct candidate reference checks.
- Work with the Technical Recruiter and Hiring Managers to effectively move candidates through the screening process.
- Contact candidates to schedule and organize interviews.
- Provide support to HR Administrator.
- Other duties as assigned by the HR Administrator.
Recruiting & HR Assistant Requirements:
- Due to the nature of work, candidates must be U.S. citizens.
- High school diploma plus advanced training, and 2-3 yrs. of relevant experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite software.
- Must be a team player with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and follow through on assignments.
- Ability to multi-task and work successfully in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to communicate in a professional manner.
Recruiting & HR Assistant Desired Qualifications:
- Experience using UKG (UltiPro).
- Experience writing job descriptions/postings.
- Experience developing processes.
