As a Recruiting Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our recruitment efforts and ensuring a seamless candidate experience from application to onboarding. You will work closely with our HR and recruitment teams to coordinate interviews, communicate with candidates, and assist with various recruitment activities.
Qualifications:
- Experience with Paycom is a big plus!
- Associate's degree in human resources, Business, or another related field is preferred, but not required.
- A minimum of two years’ human resources, recruitment, administrative, or general office experience required.
- Professional HR and/or Talent Acquisition certification is a plus, but not required
Clerical Functions
- Answering phone calls, scanning documents, and making photocopies is integral to the recruitment process. The Recruiting assistant will help ensure that all the necessary paperwork is filed, and that applicant forms, information and documents are completed and processed. The HR dept mailbox will also be part of the responsibility of the HRRC and making sure employees are responded to in a timely fashion. There are ongoing projects in recruitment and HR that the HRRC will be part of or may own.
Schedule Interviews
· The Recruiting assistant assists in scheduling interviews for the entire company. This involves coordinating schedules with applicants and interviewers, creating calendars, sending interview confirmations, monitoring inboxes, and reconciling interview cancellations.
Screen Applicants
- Using Paycom for Talent Acquisitions, you are one of the first point of contact between applicants and the hiring manager, the recruiting assistant screen applicants with the Corporate Recruiter before moving their applications forward. To screen applicants, The HRRC reviews application material, read resumes and cover letters, and set up phone interviews.
Update Applicant Information
- The Recruiting Coordinator performs data entry to input and update applicant information in the candidate database. They uphold confidentiality when handling applicant information.
Process Background Checks/Screening
- The Recruiting assistant assist with processing background checks to verify applicant information and ensure that the minimum hiring requirements are met. This may include contacting references, screening for drug use, and checking for criminal background.
Skills
- Customer service – greet interviewees and answer phone calls and emails, offering a high level of customer service to ensure a pleasant experience for applicants.
- Recruitment experience – since the HRRC will assist candidate communications and hiring, you should be familiar with interview, onboarding, and training processes.
- Computer literacy – this position requires a strong familiarity with social networking sites and job applicant systems, the HRRC will use applicant tracking systems, job boards, and social media to reach potential applicants.
- Organizational skills – scheduling multiple interviews and coordinating the recruitment process requires you to be organized and efficient.
- Time management – from answering phone calls and emails to answering questions from Managers, The HRRC will work in a fast-paced environment where you will always be juggling multiple tasks. Effective time management will help operations run smoothly and on time.
