This is a full time, exempt position with a 4-day work week!
The Recruiter & Training Coordinator will play a pivotal role in driving talent acquisition and development initiatives. The position will handle all aspects of the recruiting lifecycle to include onboarding, new hire orientation, and developing and maintain a companywide training program.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Develop an understanding of ideal skill sets and backgrounds required for current and future positions.
- Work with leadership team to identify current and future staffing needs.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to create and maintain job descriptions.
- Source and recruit for various positions utilizing hiring platforms such as job boards, social media, and industry networking to attract qualified candidates.
- Review resumes to identify potential candidates.
- Conduct phone screens to assess candidate qualifications and fit for roles.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews with management team members, take part in on-site interviews and candidate selections.
- Attend recruiting events such as job fairs and stay up to date on industry trends and best practices by utilizing outside resources.
- Extend job offers and negotiate terms of employment with candidates, conduct background screenings and reference checks, and facilitate onboarding.
- Coordinate new hire orientation sessions and training to ensure a smooth transition and to familiarize employees with company policies, safety procedures, and job responsibilities.
- Oversee company wide training initiatives and processes, collaborative with management team to develop and maintain training programs.
- Track and manage staff training requirements in accordance to position requirements and compliance standards.
- Assist with various HR administrative tasks and other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience
- A minimum of 2+ years’ experience in full cycle recruitment required.
- A minimum of 1+ years’ experience in human resources.
- Strong background in workforce training and development.
- Experience working in a manufacturing plant setting strongly preferred.
- Must be available to work 40 hours per week, with a proven excellent attendance record.
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of Employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, push, and/or pull up to 20 lbs.
- Ability to move between different building locations, as well as being sedentary for long periods of time.
- Must follow all safety requirements to include wearing protective footwear and eyewear when necessary.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
