The Recruiter, Executive Search, is responsible for developing and engaging candidates for Jacobson’s Executive Search team. This individual actively recruits for executive level positions by facilitating the recruitment process, engaging candidates for the respective positions, and creating a consistent and positive candidate experience.
Relationships
This is a salaried non-exempt position. This position will report directly to the Supervisor of Research and Recruiting. The Recruiter, Executive Search will consistently uphold a client relationship with the Researchers, Recruiters, Engagement Directors, and Managing Directors.
Responsibilities
- Lead Recruitment of potential candidates for client engagements.
- Contact and attract passive candidates to executive level roles by creating compelling LinkedIn messages, phone calls/texts, and emails.
- Meet pre-determined search goals and milestones.
- Identify candidate market or position challenges and present potential creative solutions to the search team.
- Maintain a consistent flow of communication to candidates and team members.
- Update candidate information and resumes in Jacobson’s internal database (Bullhorn) quickly and accurately.
- Prepare for and participate in search launch meetings.
- Update and review project management tool each week (Smartsheet) for searches and capacity reporting.
- Conduct reference checks.
- Participate in business unit and corporate projects, as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years of experience recruiting qualified candidates.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter and/or Candidate Database (ATS System). Bullhorn strongly preferred.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Excellent phone communication skills
- Demonstrated persistence and tenacity
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to “think on your feet”
- Insurance recruiting experience preferred
