- Develop innovative sourcing strategies to create a consistent flow of diverse top-tier candidates relevant to all aspects of the business (e.g., colleges, universities, high schools, community partners, job boards- to name a few)
- Establish positive working relationships with hiring managers to develop recruitment strategies per their business needs
- Interview candidates for a variety of positions within the organization
- Host onsite hiring events as needed at the DC locations
- Provide a great candidate experience by staying in touch with candidates throughout the entire process.
- Negotiate offers and complete pre-employment screening
- Be accountable to key metrics including time to fill, sourcing effectiveness, quality of hire, and both hiring manager and candidate satisfaction
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a recruiter, preferably in distribution center, order fulfilment, warehouse, or skilled trades environments.
- Proven success in recruiting candidates from entry level to management level
- Demonstrated ability to think differently about recruiting - maximizing our current resources and also stepping away from the job boards and into different realms to bring in top quality candidates
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience in a high volume recruitment environment
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
- Exceptional follow-up skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to travel as needed
