Recreational Therapist

We are currently seeking a CTRS certified Recreation therapist to work with children, teen and adults with Intellectual of Developmental Disabilities (IDD). Therapist will provide and explore structured leisure activities in a 1:1 setting, in the home as well as the community. The right candidate will be a self starter, have reliable transportation, and possess a caring and patient personality. The position is part time/ contractor; however there is potential to grow your hours over time.

• Bachelor's degree
• CTRS certified
• Driver's License
• Professional Liability Insurance

• Perform evaluations to assess clients' strengths, needs and weaknesses and set measurable goals and objectives
• Plan, organize and facilitate structured therapeutic activities intended to improve physical, cognitive, emotional and social functioning.
• Document weekly, quarterly, and annual progress for clients' treatment plan.
• Maintain the highest standards of professional conduct and ethics.*
