Broomfield's Parks, Recreation, & Senior Services Department is now hiring one full time non-exempt Recreation Facility Coordinator. This position will be scheduled, along with other Facility Coordinators to cover hours at both recreation facilities, which are open 7 days per week.
Currently, this position will be scheduled during the following days/times:
Friday 11:30 am -11:00 pm
Saturday 11:00 am - 8:30 pm
Sunday 10:30 am - 6:30 pm
Monday 11:15 am -10:15 pm
Hiring Range: $26.02/hr - $30.61/hr

The incumbent will be responsible for the daily operation of the Recreation Center including supervision of a variety of programs, rentals, special events, maintenance, and front desk operation.
Oversees opening and closing of Recreation/Senior Center and other facilities as scheduled; supervise staff and volunteers on a given shift, assuring adequate coverage for programs and activities. Work must be performed on site.
Maintains, schedules and supervises activities, personnel, volunteers, and maintenance of facilities including and weight rooms.
May assist in coordination of recreation staff in the delivery of programs and special events for adults, teens and children.
Supervises and/or instructs classes, workshops, and activities for persons engaged in recreation programs.
Enforces all rules and regulations of programs and facilities; ensures that the facility is safe for use.
Manages proper set-up and take-down of necessary equipment needed for programs or functions.
Serves as the main point of contact during special events and rentals. Securely opens and/or closes facilities for after-hours events.
Assists supervisor in First Aid and CPR training, including facility emergency procedures. May also assist with building maintenance project planning.
Training - Bachelor's degree in Recreation Administration or related field.
Experience - A minimum of one year experience in the field of recreation or facility management. Knowledge of weight room operations is preferred.
