Form of workThis position is assigned to the Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) Community Programs (N922) Branch; Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) Recreational Fleet and Family Readiness Support Services (N94); Commander, Navy Region Hawaii, at Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam (JBPHH), Honolulu, HI. The purpose of this position is to perform a variety of duties in support of the MWR recreation program. The incumbent provides instruction on boating safety, sailing and windsurfing.Qualifications: Resumes must include information which demonstrates experience and knowledge, skills, and ability (KSAs) as they relate to this position. Knowledge Required of the Position:
- Applicant must demonstrate proficiency in sailing and windsurfing.
- Applicant must have knowledge of navigational aids, water safety, life saving and first aid principles and practices.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and show ability to instruct.
