As a Recreation Assistant in a long-term care facility, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for residents by assisting with recreational and leisure activities. Your primary responsibility is to create a positive and engaging environment that promotes socialization, mental stimulation, and physical well-being for residents. The Recreation Assistant works closely with the Recreation Director to plan and implement a variety of programs tailored to meet the unique needs and interests of the residents.

Now Hiring: Activities Assistant

Responsibilities (Activities Assistant) :

• Invite and assist residents in the activity of their choice

• Document in residents’ charts according to State and Federal regulations

• Assist in planning, layout, and distribution of monthly resident newsletter

• Assist in scheduling movies, planning activities, and providing games for residents

• Deliver mail, flowers, and other items to residents in a timely manner

• Knowledge of and complies with the Corporate Compliance Program

Qualifications (Activity Assistant) :

• High School Diploma

• Activity Assistant experience preferred
